Hi,

(first post on mactalk)

I've been running F@H on my MBP for a while now (v.6.10) but I can't find how to successfully turn off the processing when I want to (and it really kills the battery life)

I've found a few apps that say they control the processes, but none that I've tried seem to turn it off at all.

Is there an EASY way to start/stop the F@H processes when you need to ?

It's been ages since I ran folding@home myself, but as I recall, this app allows you to turn it on and off at least:

Folding@home - Download the Folding@home software application (http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Download)

Yes, there is an start/stop option in System Preferences, but even when it says "Folding@Home disabled" I can see that there's a lot of CPU being used by the FAHx processes (I'm using iStatPro on the dashboard)
