I was given an iTune gift card a while ago and was thinking of using (some of) it to purchase the One day As A Lion EP (Zach de la Rocha, RATM and Jon Theodore, Marz Volta)—ANTI- One Day As A Lion, One Day As A Lion (http://www.anti.com/catalog/view/111/One_Day_As_A_Lion)

Is there a simple way to determine if the tracks are DRM free?

If it has iTunes Plus next to it, it's DRM free.

If you had linked to the bands page in iTunes we could have told you.

One day as a lion, no DRM. iTunes plus tracks are also 256 kbps AAC instead of the usual 128 kbps AAC.

thanks all—is iTunes Plus (so DRM free) :D

now a stupid question—when i try to set up an account (i logged out of my US one first ;) ) i am only given the option of USA as the country

How do you guys who have US accounts get around this??

EDIT: I have just attempted to redeem the card without creating an account, and I still get the a message that I am accessing the US Store

EDIT EDIT: I accessed the Aust store my other mac...

After you have created... and when you log into whichever account iTunes automatically takes you there.
