Hey guys.

I am finally getting used to SMB on my iPod touch, but I am confused as to why I always have to start from the first level? Why can I not save/load game profiles?

Any one know why?
Ricky.

Because otherwise it would not be infuriatingly frustrating to play!

I got every banana on every stage of the first level and the second didn't unlock :(

welcome to games that could be finished in 2 hours but they make it annoying enough to keep you needing to finish it

Sheesh. I didn't know it was like that. It's definitely not the game for me then :P

Are you serious?! Is this the actual design of the game?

Can you email the developer to ask them to add a save game option? Perhaps they'll update it. I've had updates for 3 different apps since launch, including one for Cro-Mag Rally that made the vibration "rumble" an option--not an especially small tweak. I'm pretty impressed with the updates. Evernote had a busted feature and it was fixed in 2 days.

To be honest I was really looking forward to this game and was the first game I bought but has quickly become bloody annoying as it is so damn hard and have stopped playing it out of fear I might end up throwing my touch against the wall in frustation.

I'm up to the harder levels in the first world. Getting a little repetitive when I can't finish them though!

Same here...way too touchy for my liking.

How many levels are in a world, Beau? Once you have completed one world, can you then move onto the next one straight away?

Looks like SMB is getting an update that will allow you to calibrate the tilt sensor's position and its sensitivity.

I have almost passed the game (sans bonus levels). I just died on the 9th stage of the Hard half of the final world!

You must have very steady hands and a lot of spare time!

Great to hear they are addressing the issue with this game also hope they include some sort of game save feature.

It took me a long time to get used to, but I am quite good at it now!

I was up to the 4th world, but had to restore my iPhone and even though iTunes takes ages to do that backup every time you plug it in, it does not save the game files!!!

You probably have the "Hard" difficulty unlocked.

so you have to do all of them on hard before moving to the next level??

yeah you have to complete easy AND hard in each world before moving on to the next world.

the levels in hard are different to the levels in easy tho... so its not like you are playing the same levels over and over again

Ahh ok. I thought you had to grab all the bananas in order to move on.

I'm up to the Desert level.

I think the game is fun! It's perfect for non-serious gamers. The not-saving of your progress it a bit annoying, though.
