i don't know how many times I have watched a football match, public protest or some other public event, and seen some Wally waving a home made sign of some sort, with the silliest spelling mistakes. You gotta laugh, If I was going to go to that extent, you can be sure I would be checking the spelling.

Thought i would start a thread where you can post the funniest/ silliest mistakes you have seen.

Pictures please, or it didn't happen.

I love this one.

It's always ironic when someone posts a thread like this and includes a grammatical or spelling mistake in the thread title.

"Oops" doesn't require an apostrophe ;)

"Oop's" = "Oop is".

Oop is what?

So sink me!.... Find a funny sign and post it. ...(and don't dare make a grammatical error!:p)

I remember driving past a pub on the central coast with a HUGE HUGE billboard with "YOUR HERE!" written on it.

I mean, that would have gone past at least ten people, any one of which could've spotted the wrong 'your'.

The mind boggles.

I remember driving through Tallangatta and passing a sign out the front of a house.

It read:

Firewood $26 per cm

Most expensive firewood in the universe! I think he meant sq m. :D

Maybe someone stole the beer from the sign?

I know I would if a sign said "Your beer here!"

Although I guess it wouldn't really be stealing, as the beer would be mine!

I saw this sign a couple of times mainly at the Three gorge dam, this one was taken from someone elses collection.

There's another thing I nabbed from the hotel, i'll scan when i get home.. it makes no sense what so ever!

When in Egypt this year we were at the "Pharaohs Village" (it's a bit hard to translate from Arabic) and there was a sign that said " Information Disk" instead of "Information Desk"
