I have a song on my computer, that i want to use a certain part of it as the ringtone on my phone. anyone know how to do this?

Yep.. get Audio Hijack (http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijack/) and use that to hi-jack while you're playing it in iTunes...

Easy and straightforward.. :)

Use Garageband to trim it. Audacity is also a (free) option.

EDIT: Or try above :P

Drag the file into the Garageband (you may need to create a new real track, I can't remember exactly). Then drag the sides/split the track etc.. to the section you want. You can adjust the volume to make it fold in /out

Then click send to iTunes, you can right click the file>show in finder to retrive it again.
