I'm drowning in DVDs. I can't wait for Apple to put Blu-Ray in Macs.

Hopefully at Macworld 09 we'll see at least a MBP with bluray, maybe even a MB. If Sony can do it at 1500, then Apple who also have more expensive hardware can do it too.

Blu-ray media is still far too expensive for drives to be viable in consumer PCs. Would you be happy if you burnt a $25 coaster?

Sure beats the combo drive of the $1499 MacBook...

Wow, that's anti-Apple, isn't it?

Is it just a BlueRay reader or BlueRay burner?

Brains told us how burner lenses are now all made of plastic, which fog up over time due to the power of the burning laser being put through them.

Surely Blu-Ray is even higher power than DVD, so will this problem be even worse with Blu-Ray drives?

Calling Brains...

Do I need to shine a searchlight into the night sky or something? Shape of a brain?

Sorry tintin, I haven't done any reading on HD or BD burners, I wouldn't have the foggiest, not even to make a conjecture.
