I've just got a PCTV Pinnacle Dual DVB-T Diversity Stick after my old one died.

I decided to give it a go as it seems to be supported by EyeTV (detected in the prefs) and the insurance was paying for it.

Anyway, seems to work expept for the audio on HD, just a horrible noise. It says "Australia HD" on the box.
Any ideas what's happening? Would EyeTV 3 be better? I'm on 2.5 atm.
Or I'm just selling it and getting the Mac one again.

cheers.

I think it would be best to get the Mac one again.

Yeah this one is worth more being a dual tuner, so I shouldn't lose on it.

But it's listed as a supported tuner on the Elgato website, so I figured it should be OK. Some kind of audio codec problem?

Bump. I wonder what they're saying on Battlestar Galactica?

Elgato support was good, and I found the problem while trying to get them more info.

Turns out it was some temporary weirdness with the Dolby 5.1 audio of the HD channels going out through the digital out on the mac. Unplugged the speakers, and it worked with the inbuilt speakers, plugged the speakers back in and still works!

No idea how or why, but that's how I fixed it. :)
