someone asked me about this in the desktop picture thread. figured i would share. now, first...i take absolutely no credit for these mods. they were all downloaded from another board that i frequent (macthemes2.net). second...ALWAYS BACKUP before you edit. i've learned the hard way, you don't have to. now...

Front page says that Apple Legal sent them a letter - on the weekend?. Might be an april fools considering the "weekend" bit, but the whole site appears to be off-line.

The site has had a cease and desist from Apple's Gestapo division.

hahaha. yeah, it's an april fools thing...there's a good bit of apple programmers on that board, so i highly doubt apple sent them a stop notice. try again tomorrow.

Perfect example of why, if you find a site you really like/need the contents of, you should save copies to your HDD...

Not that I ever do that... I just curse when I go back and the site is 404...

i have all the files and can upload them, but i really don't feel like writing out all the instructions for each file. so, it's up to you. if you know what you're doing as far as replacing nib files, then you should be fine. if not...you should probably wait for instructions.

the guys behind macthemes are the same guys behind macheist, so its not surprising they'd do a fake shutdown for april fools.

I want transparent black glass on leather os x!... but only if it works on every window and dialog of every app.

Otherwise it can be damned in Linux UI Hell!

sorry, they haven't gotten every thing yet. only certain attributes of the system. there's certain things that can't be switched to hud due to programming of some sort. but i'm no expert...who knows....maybe it will happen one day.
