Hi,
Im looking for a simple scanner just to scan in my drawings~

I dont need a printer-fax-photocopier-telephone-missile launcher multifunction one.

I tried searching them on apple store but only came up with those all-in-one printers. Edit: and those in US store states its from Mac OS X v10.2.8 to 10.4.x >:( why no 10.5?

Any help is much appreciated!~ ;)

Well that's a pity, because there are some truly superb missile launching scanners currently available to individuals and foreign powers alike - however - Canon offer some very reasonable and simple flat-bed scanners, which are totally compatible with 10.5.x.

Click here (http://www.canon.com.au/products/scanners/scanners_document.html) for a stroll through peaceful scanner land.

The CanoScan LiDE series offer the simple functions you appear to be seeking (minus the heat seeking guided missiles).

I have a CanoScan LIDE scanner sitting next to me now. It hasn't had heavy use, but it's been semi regular.

Totally reliable and works fine.

Do those Canon scanners have TWAIN drivers?

Sure do. Go to Canon Australia - Home (http://www.canon.com.au) and select support then driver downloads. Enter the model of LiDE in the search field then get your driver....

Even my older CanoScan 3200F has a data source file that lets me use Image Capture/Preview under 10.5.

Good to know. The older LIDE canon scanners didn't have "official" TWAIN/Image Capture drivers. I have had to resort to SANE/TWAIN for those.
