I have an iMac and I'm not really happy with the screensaver program because I can't adjust the length of time between photos shown. Now my pictures just flash by too fast. I wonder if there's an alternate (freeware?) program where I can have greater freedom with screensaver options. Would appreciate your feedback.

One can quite easily customize the basic OS X Screen Savers like Beach, Forest and Cosmos - to load one's own JPEGs into their package contents, yet without high programming skills, one still cannot change the time between each slide.

Who knows? There may be such a Screen Saver in existence, yet most of us would use Google (http://www.google.com) or Versiontracker (http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/) or Apple Screensavers (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/icons_screensavers/) to search for such a creature.

As long as you can type the words: Slideshow Screen saver for OS X - into any of the above, you can easily seek these things out for yourself, rather than have others do it for you, yes?

cheers,

cw

Fair go! I can't really help from my experience, so I didn't reply. But fair enough to ask a forum where you should have a good chance of benefitting from fellow users knowledge. I thought that was the point.

I've moved this to the appropriate forum. Please do NOT cross-post in different forums. Thanks.
