Hello all...

I was hoping someone may be able to help. I'm an absolute beginner with Logic Express 8 (using Mac OSX 10.5, Korg K61 midi keyboard, logic/M1Le/Jampack software instruments).

I've been able to successfully record several tracks (drums, keyboard, etc)...but at the very start of the recording there's a 'all-at-once-crash' of sounds/instruments from the instruments i'm using...as if i pressed several keys all at once. It happens at the very beginning of the track/s, before what i actually recorded starts playing back.

Thank you in advance if anyone can offer any suggestions.

That's the all-notes-off reset of MIDI.

Insert a 4- or 8-count (1 or 2 bars) of nothing at the very beginning of the track, before the first MIDI event. Logic's always had a rolling-start problem.
