View Full Version : iPhone forum cleanup

Hi all

We know everyone is super excited about all things iPhone and unlocking right now, but the forums are turning into a real mess at the moment as everyone keeps posting 'news' and questions about their own personal circumstance relating to this whole thing.

While many topics are relatively discrete, we'd appreciate it if you could please keep discussion (including support queries or purchasing advice) relating to the following topics to their corresponding threads:

iPhone software SIM unlock (including activation) (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/showthread.php?t=36215);
iPhone hardware unlock (including activation) (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/showthread.php?t=36235);
Carriers / plans / SIMs for unlocked iPhones (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/showthread.php?t=35845);
How to procure an iPhone in Australia (wherever you are) (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/showthread.php?t=36565)
iPhone native third party apps (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/showthread.php?t=36583);
Ringtone applications for iPhone / iTunes (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/showthread.php?t=36130);
Modifying iPhones for YouTube or other localisations (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/showthread.php?t=36589)
3G iPhone speculation (updates, carriers, regions etc) (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/showthread.php?t=36523)

Please try to keep any further discussion anyway relating to these topics in these threads - there really don't need to be specific threads for each and every iPhone-issue that crops up in the near future. We'll merge if necessary, but we'd rather you did the right thing first.
