Hi,
I've had this Macbook for under 2 months and was wondering if these things were "normal" for a fairly new machine...

1. To the right of the iSight, there is a small "lump" in the bezel... not really noticeable, just wondering if "lumps" in the screen are normal?

2. Dead pixel on the right side of the screen.

3. Spilt a tiny bit of beer on the trackpad button and now it's gone all crunchy and unbalanced on me.. is there anyway to fix this without replacing the whole front case?

If anyone could answer my silly questions, it would be very much appreciated :)

1. Those bumpers are where the green active light emits.

Can't help you with the other two though.

EDIT: The first one is normal.

To fix the dead pixel, go here (http://www.jscreenfix.com/).

Not sure about the trackpad button.

I'd probably lift the palm rest off and clean the clicker that way :)

Thanks for the quick replies :)

Would that void warranty?

Would that void warranty?

Not if you do it well enough :D

If you want to be sure, take it into an Apple service provider.

Hmmm, if I called Apple up would they replace it due to a dead pixel and a crunchy trackpad button?
I don't mind the dead pixel, but the button is so damn annoying...
