View Full Version : Hacking iDVD

After much effort, I have finally got iDVD back to converting Mpeg-2 files to, well, Mpeg-2 files. Unfortunately *now* it complains that the content I've created is too long to fit on a DVD.

Your project exceeds the maximum content duration

Is there any way I can trick iDVD into creating a Video_TS folder of size larger than a DVD-DL so I can compress it with Toast later? I really don't like the idea of 8 hours straight encoding

Sorry to be so much of a bother with all this "iDVD this, iDVD that" but I think I'm nearly done with all this.

Thanks in Advance.

Oh yeah, the MPEG-2 file created by iDVD in the .idvdproj package is only 5.4GB... so does this expand to 8.14GB when trying to burn? Because my menu content is only 2MB. (Yes, it's frustrating).

I think I'll try an all-night encoding of High-Quality. :(
