Good morning all.

Have been looking this morning at Bulk mail programs.

It's tedious at times having to get info out to my clients, so I figure some sort of bulk mailing program would facilitate things. There are a number of free and shareware apps on the Apple site and I was hoping for some recommendations and feedback from any of you lovely people who have experience in this area.

Thanks all in advance,........ (might go back to bed now):p

I use Spheritec Mailmaster

http://www.spheritec.com.au/page15.aspx

They are a tad more expensive that some of the others, but they are local, have awesome support and really work hard to ensure emails get delivered.

Hi all, Thanks for the replies and assistance.

I think I have settled on "Serial Mailer"

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/email_chat/serialmailer.html

I downloaded the trial (limited to ten emails at a time) and gave it a test.

It allows you to import your address book, mail to all, selected groups etc. and mail from selected email address.

Seems to do what i require. So I think I will pay the $49.00 for the unlimited version.

Thanks again guys.:)

You obviously didn't follow the link.

Mailman is a free GNU application that allows you to send out bulk email but appear as though sending to one address.

All it takes is a little python and webserver. which comes builtin with your Mac, to setup.

Duh!.... what link?..:p sorry old son, didn't mean to appear ungrateful, there is no link in your earlier post.

I think serial mailer will do the job. It sends out individual emails to each client you select from the address book. But I will have a look at mailman if you send me the link.

"Cheers Bigears" :):) Had a look, but I think Serial Mailer is simpler, doesn't require additional add on or software, and comes from the Apple website. I'm going to trial it for a week and then report back here before/ if I purchase.
