Is it possible to convert more than one avi file onto a single DVD that can be played in a regular standalone player???

I shared your pain with Toast.
I switched to ffMpegxx and it was alot quicker and better quality with more control.

However, it really is a lot better to pick up a cheap xvid/divx dvd player and just burn them to a data dvd and watch it that way or better still buy one with usb support and copy them to usb and watch them that way.

9 months ago I bought a AWA xvid/divx dvd player with 5.1 surround and usb support for $65 from Big W. Best $65 I've ever spent.

I want to convert a series of avi files to DVD for my father - aside from not knowing how to turn a computer on, being able to watch it on his TV is the issue... without buying a new DVD player

I was hoping to put these onto a single DVD, size permitting.
