Tisn't my powerbook - just images of one from another channel that popped up. I have no idea where it happened, but oik. it doesn't look fun. From the other pictures I've seen of Nokia phones whose batteries let go, and the odd pocket pc people have tried hacking but accidentally stabbed the battery of... it's a lithium ion battery having a really bad day.

Or perhaps "This quicktime movie will self destruct in ten seconds..." :)

As far as I know the problem with the nokia batteries was because people had used chaep non-genuine batteries most likely from china or tiwan or korea or something. I'm hoping that this is the case for this Mac as well - and is not a fault of Apple's at all
