Same keyboard - iBook Powerbook?

Hi,

I need to get a keyboard protector for a forthcoming 12" iBook.

Couple of questions

Is the keyboard layout the same for the 12" iBook as well as the 14" iBook? Is it the same as the Powerbooks (15" or just 12")? I was going to get it from either Lajo.biz or iSkin.com.

On Lajo - There are two types, the xIBPB and the xPB skins. I'm assuming the the xIBPB would be suitable for the 12" iBook. There appears to be a promo running on Lajo due to Valentine's day (belatedly?) offering a discount of 50% so they might get my business.

I found the image below which shows the specific skin for the keyboard layout.

Hi! Yeah the layout is different between the iBook and the Powerbook. An xPB will not work on an iBook keyboard, and vice versa. You can see this in the picture you attached.

So yeah, get the Xibpb skin and it will fit great. :)

I've used the iSkin product with my old Powerbook (Ti) and am hoping the Lajo one is a bit thinner for the iBook.

Ordered the key board protector yesterday from Lajo, with discount it came to US$8.75 (Au$11.20) plus shipping (US$5). Pretty happy with the price, but I couldnt help myself and ordered another eXo case for my iPod. :o

The keyboard protector arrived from China yesterday evening at the office. I ordered Monday night at ~10pm and it arrived Thursday evening - now that's speedy!

It is pretty useless though, till that iBook gets here <_<
