I am trying to burn some of my photos to a DVD...

I have tried this THREE times now I keep getting this error:

"Burn Failed:
The burn to the MATSHITA DVD-R-UJ-825 drive failed.
There was an error producing data for the burn"

The DVD is ejected each time near the end of the burn process.

When I insert the DVD back into the drive, it does not mount...

Each time I reduced the number of photos so that there is more free space on the DVD...

Have you downloaded the update that is available on software update?

DVDs are OK and latest update of iPhoto is installed...

I get a quicker response for this question from MacTalk than from the Apple Support Web page.

If this problem is to continue, then what are the folders in iPhoto Library that need to be backed up so that iPhoto can build the Library files again? There is a folder named "Original". When I did a back up before using iPhoto, the file size is a certain amount but the disk space required amount is much bigger.

Another thing... When I made a copy of my iPhotos to a DVD, the files could not be read from a PC... has that been anybody else's experience?

Thanks...

I have the same problem. DVDs are fine, software up to date. The problem has only recently emerged. Did anyone have any bright ideas?
