One of my favourite Mac journalists is John Siracusa and he's written his take on 10.5: http://arstechnica.com/reviews/os/mac-os-x-10-5.ars

Yeah, an absolute must read for those that want to know what's changed "under the hood".

Highly, highly recommended.

That's a great review.

Nothing else has really explained what's actually changed in Leopard as well.

It almost inspired me to rush out and buy it.

Think I'll still wait a few weeks.

There were a couple of useful tips in there, such as how to change the look of the dock to something more sane. His descriptions of some of the visual changes were hilarious. I'd forgotten about BeOS too and how people mourned the loss of the possibility of using some of its features until he reminded me of it.

Great.
I just wish it was even longer. :)
