This has probably been mentioned in another thread, but I think it deserves it's own due to how cool it is. Try this;

Go to Screensaver settings and choose any of the picture screen savers...forest for example.

Under the preview, click the third icon, 'Mosaic'

You need an iPhoto library for this to work...the bigger the better. Change the speed to faster if you like under 'options'

Test your screensaver and be amused at how cool it is! :D

For a preview about what I am on about...check this out:

After watching it preview for a while, I felt all dizzy and felt like I was falling forward all the time.

It was cool.

Man - I've just chosen a smart album for the pictures, and using it set to 100 rows the output is fantastic!

Thanks for this - I'd wouldn't have found this for ages (or ever). Now my default screensaver.

Regards,
Shane.

Anyone want to buy a TV tuner card, I don't need it anymore! :P

Though when I stopped it, it stayed on screen behind...had to change spaces and clear it up...

It's great isnt it! Soooo cool that Leopard is able to look through your library and pick out the right pictures to make the other picture!

I just tired the 100 lines thing...look awesome, but the MacBook lagged a little! :D

Apple has added in "Sleep Display" to the Hot Corners...

So simple, yet something always drove me nuts. The "Sleep Display" widget (AKA Nighty night) solved it for me under Tiger, but then didn't work under Leopard.

Hooray, I'm reducing my carbon footprint :)

yep for some reason this age is getting bigger

If you dont have heaps of pictures it starts to duplicate them

My only gripe about this is it seems to cycle the same images in the same order each and every time. Perhaps that's because I'm using an Aperture library and not iPhoto (which isn't installed on my system), but I would think that it wouldn't matter.
Anyone else having the same images display in the same order? I've made sure I've got the box ticked to display slides in a random order.

http://www.hypography.com/article.cfm?id=32376*laughs* Photosynth is several orders of magnitude above a simple mosaic screen-saver in terms of complexity and 'features'. We don't even know half the things we will be able to do with Photosynth... http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/129

I was just messing with my screensavers and discovered this mosaic option.... I've had Leopard for almost a year and didn't even know it existed!

I came on here to tell everyone about it, but did a search first, and found this thread!

It is crazy cool, I love it!
