Hey guys, my parents just bought a Mac and now they need to get all their contacts from their Windows address book onto the Mac address book. I've been googling around for a while and there doesn't seem to be any solutions on how to do this!

Does anyone know how to do this or any software that can do it?

Cheers

edit: figured it out. it requires actually going back into the windows address book and exporting the files to vcards,

I have never used windows address book but instead used Address Book (AB6.0a) from Parsons Technology. This program is no longer available. I spent hours researching how I am going to import all my contacts into Apple Address Book and came across this nice little program.

"Address Book Importer is a utility to import contacts into Apple's Address Book application on Mac OS X. It works with CSV or tab-delimited files, and gives you complete control over how the import is done. In no time, your hundreds of contacts are stowed away in the Mac OS X central address book, where they can be used by any application. And if you need to perform an import on a periodic basis, your import mapping can be saved for future uses."
