Hey guys, i work at a place where the roster is done by hand in a woord table...

this presents many problems, i don't really wanna go into it.

does anyone know of any good software with demos or free that can...

1. have employee details ie pay rates, fultime/partime/casual, max hours can work etc
2. can roster the staff accordingly to what they are employed as, ie giving a full timer 40 hours
3. ability to have different shift times (most i've seen, all the shifts in one day have to be 8 hours)
4. printing and saving facility.

mac os x is preffered, but i mean any software at all (mac, win etc) would be heaps better than what we've got now...

thanks for the input in advance.

At my old work we used a software package called Retain. It's probably a lot more complex and it doesn't allow automatic rostering, it needs user input, but it does everything you want.
