Hey guys,

This is the first time I've done some benchmarking so here goes.

I have an app which I just tested and on idle uses about 1.84MB of RAM, and when doing what I tell it to do it uses 3.11MB (roughly) of RAM. Are these results good.

Apologies for being so vague but I really don't intend on posting anymore of what the app does. :)

Thanks in advance,
Ricky.

Depends what the app is - 3MB could be heaps for a text editor - could be amazing if it's a photo editor :)

Well let's just clarify that it's not a photo editor :p.

It really does depend on what the app does, but that's a drop in the bucket nowadays...

It's still in the works so zipped lips for me :) (it's my own, not anyone else's)

Utterly pointless conversation without more information. How about that local sports team.

Indeed. It could be adding two numbers together for all we know.

Its got something to do with generating numbers. not much else.

I wouldnt really be worried about memory usage. Unless its a very big app its going to use very little memory. What you should worry about is memory leaks.
