Why not? They teamed up to make the G3 and G4 chips?

If it is, i reckon it'll just be like a E398. :(

Yeah, I heard rumours an iPhone Shuffle is in the works, "Life is random, so why not call random people". ;)

I'm in the market for a new phone. How long do you think a release will be?

An iPhone will complete my digital lifestyle. :D

Tomorrow, Next Week, Next Month, Next Year, Never. Take your pick ;)

Thought as much. If it's going to look like the E398, well that design is not so bad unless it has a white glossy finish to it.

Those posters have been debunked as very good fakes.

Apple and Moto joined forces mid last year. The new phone (no name or model number) comes out first half this year...as per Moto press release.

Will not be a high level US $500 phone, will be cheaper, aimed at mainstream consumers...will use bluetooth and cable to isync...we suspect will have the shuffle tech built right in with similiar specs...will have a colour screen with ipod like controls...will be damn hot if its all these things!

Do they know if it will contain an OS made by Mac, or a moto. interface that is easy to use on a Mac?

That'll teach me to read more careful next time ;)

If it has a dock, I'm upgrading LOL!

if this device is priced right, I have a feeling it could take the mobile phone market by the scruff of the neck. Especially considering Apple's history of producing quality devices with attention given to the finest details. Can't wait :)

No iPhone.... but it seems anyone in France gets to check it out this week!

Got this today... and seems that the RAZR family is expanding. We knew about the black one now called BLZR, there will be a round one as well, and a candybar styled phone called SLVR

The iTunes compatible phone still has Motorola's operating system.

E1060...Mmm. Not until Q4 (October!)...thats a pretty long wait for a phone whose photo appears rather unimpressing...

Damn.

http://engadget.com/entry/1234000477031629/

3G phone as well which is sorta good because Telstra and Optus are likely to be full playesr by years end...

Nice camera.

Has Bluetooth.

Still, its half a gig is a bit disappointing...

No flip model with iTunes...damn.

An iPod Shuffle is suddnely looking alot more attractive...and buy a Razr (if only it had a megapixel plus camera.) latter...

SE and Nokia look pretty aggresive this year with their Series 60 phones. Maybe thats worth looking into.

Ultimately this is really disappointing from Moto. Only a single candy bar iTunes phone this year is pretty poor, likely to hit Oz close to Christmas and only has half a gig max, no clear USB 2 support for moving all those quickly (and using Shuffle tech) or mention if its next gen BT, no surity that black wheel is indeed an iPod wheel, no mention of iPhoto syncing even thumbnails or to a Mac with phone taken shots, no idea about headphones (BT anyone?) and taking calls when listening to music...

Damn

Just coincidence I found this (http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/28/motorolas-touchscreen-blaze-for-verizon-in-the-wild/) link on the front page of engadget when I looked.
