Below is a link that I thought I would like to post on the forum.

I am crying at how crappy our Apple stores are here in Aust compared to this.

Go to the next page and look at all the people they cram in there however :)

Although ... looks like you could get a great LAN party happening there :D DC++ anyone?

No doubt it's Apple benchmark store, I don't think any others would be as good as this one!

I agree with pipsqueek...the crappiness of the AppleCentres here compared to that is enough to make you cry. Apple Australia sucks. :(

I only have DC, where? how? who????

I heard it was going to be available for OS X.

The LAN parties in there would be amazing. *DROOL*

Just stuffing around Steve - have been to a couple of PC LANS now and DC++ is the most popular app there :D

The DC port on OS X is much better and more stable than the PC version of DC++

Apple Centre Broadway (where I worked briefly) has FINALLY got itself fixed up so it looks good inside.

I've always thought, if you want to really sell Macs, set up a kick-arse internet cafe. Get people onto the machines, that will show them how pleasant and cool macs are.

Just hink our Apple Centres may be crap here in AU, but a least they wont drop into the Pacific Ocean when the big one hits.

Okay, I thought there was finally DC++ for Mac. I have been using DC to the LAN's I go to, usually MPU (Multiplayer United - which has really gone downhill since the main dude left) and SGL which is great because there is more (PC) leeching potential (more people) but no porn, unless you look really hard or ask someone for their CD case.

DC has been running okay on the iBook.

As far as the San Fran shop falling into the pacific ocean, I doubt it. I lived in the US (specifically LA) for 5 years. Experienced over 10 earthquakes, all supposedly heading up to the BIG ONE!

It may become its own island in a million years when another meteor hits us and wipes our species out. Then another one forms. hmm, wonder what it will be this time?

It would be cool to go on a tour of the USA to every Apple store, and take a photo of each one, hah

I wonder how long it would take to visit them all? :P
