Ok, I'm probably dense here but what's the deal with the different color clocks? It doesn't seem to be am/pm, I often have more than one clock in both colors so it's not my home time zone, it doesn't indicate a different day... what is it?

Blue indicates its still night time in that region. Hence why the only blue is 5:14am.

and the Apple widget clocks are white or black....
like blue or white to indicate night and day.

I currently have a Cupertino widget - so I knew when it was 10am Wed Pacific ready for the announcement.

Haha me too. I always keep a Cupertino clock in my dashboard. I also keep a New York clock open, as many of the macrumour sites start posting around 9am =)

I always have the time of the next Grand Prix on so I know when to follow the timing on formula1.com (and to see how much delay Ch 10 decide to put on the races..... )
