Hi guys and gals, has anyone been able to extract the iPod feature on the iPhone to use on a Mac. I would like to see this in my car as I have a Mac Mini running my whole iTunes library with a touch screen. People were able to do this with the Apple Tv why not the iPhone.

Regards, Spidey

The chip in the iPhone isn't an Intel chip as far as I know, which would make it more difficult. The AppleTV is essentially a low end PC, so it can use exactly the same OS X as a normal Mac. Despite Apple's claims, the iPhone OS X runs on a different architecture so isn't exactly the same.

The iPhone uses an ARM CPU, like the Nintendo DS :)

Cheers
