This site claims to sell them in Australia
http://www.appleiphone.com.au/

The site doesn't look too trust worthy.. there are numerous spelling mistakes and no real solid information..
I guess they just buy them up in US, unlock them and bring them over here for sale
Was only a matter of time really!

Generic site design? CHECK!
Links that go nowhere? CHECK!
Page written in latin (http://www.appleiphone.com.au/index-4.html)? CHECK!

This is a dodgy attempt at domain squatting. Don't do business with them at all, people! Don't even put your name on the 'register'.

there privacy policy is solid.. I mean just read it... why do you think the catholic church held their mass in latin.. to keep everything secret.

Its written in placeholder text (which is latin).

Just a fast way to fill a text box and have a representation of what English would look like in there.

Anyone who orders anything from them has to have their head read - it's pretty obvious it's dodgey as...

I don't know how some people sleep at night....

Reports today sujjest the 3G version of the Apple iPhone are on the way too. http://www.appleiphone.com.au/images/0blt1.jpg (http://www.appleiphone.com.au/index.html#)

Ok registered with an old email address and didnt give them a phone number:

Thank You for registering your interest (http://www.appleiphone.com.au/thanks.html#)

The level of interest the iphone has generated in the US is amazing. We have added you to the list of people interested in purchasing an iPhone and will be incontact with you as soon as the phones are close to hitting the shores of Australia.
When they are scheduled to land we can then contact you and see if you want to proceed with a purchase. Apple have yet to finalise supply agreements in Australia. When this is completed we will have further information for you.

Telco in a Box looks just as suspicious... They seem to be a carrier reseller reseller (not a typo there). Get rich quick scheme ahoy!
