MA700X/A - MacBook 13" 2.0GHz IC2D/1GB/80G/SD White - $1,200 - warranty to March 08

I am looking to get this one for 1200$

My question is will it be worth for 1200$?

Lol what hilarious responses! I say ditch the VAIO and go for the MacBook. If you want to switch slowly, why not use Windows using Boot camp or through virtualization?

Though admittingly you didn't give out the specs on your VAIO so we assume it may not have dedicated graphics (if you play games it may take alittle longer for you to adjust to the MacBook's limiting graphics.)

and a macbook will do photo editing and most video editing just as good as a macbook pro anyway since they are more cpu intensive then anything else generally

MB is only ~$1500 if you're a student, starting price, and ~$2600 if you're going to go Pro.
Educational prices.
