I went to Target on the weekend and while browsing some iPod accessories that I could not afford, my attention was captured by a notice which was quite interesting:

According to the Unit Converter widget, 2.5" is in fact 6.35cm.

Mystery solved.

Accept for the fact they also state it has a "touch screen".

Accept for the fact they also state it has a "touch screen".

It was actually meant to state "touch screen (non-functional)" :)

Those are also the current model numbers. Nothing to see here, move along.

I can be pretty certain that Target (or even Coles Group) doesn't know anything about upcoming releases of stuff, especially Apple stuff. I work at Officeworks and no one there (even managers) knows anything about new stock until it actually arrives, which is usually quite a while after the actual release.

Exactly. If any info was leaked, it wouldn't be to a place like Target, or any department store, really.

And no doubt Apple will be promoting this "new touch screen" iPod with this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxesIxgMX28&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Enoolmusic%2Ecom%2Fblogs%2F YouTube%5FMusic%5FVideos%5F80s%5F90s%5F%2D%5FDivin yls%5F%2D%5FI%5FTouch%5FMyself%2Eshtml)!

I agree I don't think Target know anymore than we do, I wasn't insuating otherwise, I just think they have some stupid person working in their advertsing department who confused their information with a palm pilot or something.

Infact Target would easily know less than us :)
