Hi Folks,

I got my brand new baby just yesterday and I think it has a glossy screen. I ordered two, one for me and my partner and they both look glassy compared to the HP laptop I'm migrating from.

Is there something in the little book it comes with or on the macbook itself which signifies this? I didn't order glossy, in fact, I saw the option for glassy and didn't check it. Mind you the colour looks fantastic and I'm really impressed so I'm kind of happy either way. I'd just really like to know what I actually have..

Thx

If it looks glossy, then it most definitely is. Matte screens are quite distinctive.

I think glossy is now the stock standard option, whether you opt for it, or not..

The MacBook *only* comes with the glossy screen.
The MacBook Pro however, there is the option of a glossy screen, the matt screens are default.

Ah ok... Thanks for the clarification guys..

As I said I think the screen looks very impressive, I dont see any issues with grainyness or anything like that. Awesome colour and richness!
