Can someone recommend an easy and free mac program for this? I really need to save some youtube vids on my powerbook.

Thanks!

This little app may be worth a look:

FLVR 0.9 (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/32110)

Puts an extra button in Safari, which you click and a pop down menu appears. Select the video, then the app downloads it and converts to MP4 at the same time. Easy to use and elegant, but is shareware.

I use iSquint also, with the activity window in safari, works well (and does more than just one thing, which is what i like in an app)

Hey Mattyi, thanks for this. Just gave it a test run and it worked a treat. I can definitely see myself using this.
