I installed the latest software updates last night, which were Quicktime 7.1.5, iTunes 7.1, Airport Extreme 1.0. Since then, my mac mini intel freezes with a sign saying to restart the computer via the power button on the back. It freezes randomly after waking from sleep and when quitting out of some programs.

Unfortunately my external backup is geared to go at 2.00 am daily, so I can't revert back to a backup copy prior to these updates. How can I get rid of the updates? All advice appreciated.

I have the installers for QT 7.1.3 and iTunes 7.0.2 if that's any help... I just have no quick way of getting them on the net.

would reinstalling tiger over the existing system and downloading all the updates except the last one work? Or is there a quicker way than that?

It's a hard one. I hope someone more mac-knowledgable sees this thread.

iTunes previous versions can be found here. I have found in the past that it is *sometimes* possible to install an older version on top of the news version, but PLEASE back up all associated files first as a precaution (sometimes it can kill the music files which are non recoverable)

Ditto for Quicktime...

I would advise having a natter with someone more knowledgable about installing these on top. I've done iTunes before, but never tried with Quicktime. Please be careful!
