View Full Version : Small Networking Problem

9th March 2007, 03:49 PM
I just bought a new Linksys WRT300N Wireless Router 802.11n. I've set it up and have a successful connection to the internet on all computers that are in the house.

Problem is, I can't seem to get any of them to recognise each other on the network.

When I try to, for example, ping my Vista box from my iMac, I get no route to host messages and ping timeouts. If i ping the iMac from Vista, I get the same type of thing.

No settings have changed on either of the computers. Earlier today I had them all networking nicely on the Netgear 802.11g router that I was using. When I switched routers everything works fine except the act of networking the computers themselves together.

It's weird that they are all active on the wireless network, all have connections to the internet, but can't see each other.

Any ideas?

Do you have "AP Isolation" enabled? See page 27 of the user manual.
