Is there a hot key for shutting down OS 10.4?

Simplest one I use is the combination:

Apple-Command :cmd: and option and control and Eject keys.

Nicely grouped actually. Three fingers down on the left hand, and then hit the Eject key once with the right index finger.

also if you have a new mac (Except mac pro) or the last of the g5 imacs, just press/hold the play button on the remote.

sounds like a bit of ipod tech made it in there... :)

holding down the power button is also a good way to sleep the computer...

But not for too long! Only hold it down a little bit! Any longer will shut it down completely!
