yep (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20030514035516436)... how are you at using vi?

might be easier to cross your fingers when osX 10.5 comes out?

Smilne,

You could always make Safari change its default home page.

Click Menu Item: Safari - and scroll down to Preferences...

In Preferences, click on the General tab, and enter a whole new address in the panel next to Home page: - and include the full - http://www.etcetc

Then everytime you start her up, you get that page, or every time you open a New page in Safari, you get that Home page again.

Cheers,

cw

AcidSearch (http://www.pozytron.com/acidsearch) Does what you are looking for and a whole lot more...

But every Safari user seriously needs to give Inquisitor (http://www.inquisitorx.com/safari/) a go. It does what acid search does does but more and beautifully and instantly and it's FREE!

Inquisitor's great. It even tells you whether you've hit the link before, making common searches easier.

Ah... you have it in reverse - AcidSearch (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/24092) will work with Mac OS X 10.3 to 10.4.8 and higher, and Safari 1.2 to 2.0.4 and higher... yet it won't work with Jaguar or any other Mac OS under Panther 10.3.

cheers,

The sign of good software, where it is our servant, and not the other way round. :)
