I saw a post a while ago but didn't understand the issues people had faced with Front Row and Codec Issues till i bought a Mac Mini and tried it for myself. :)

I encounted some issues running Divx and Xvid files in Front Row yet running them in Quicktime I had audio.
After a few days scratching my head and surfing around for codec after codec to fix the problem I hit a folder when i searched for components.
Its such an easy fix, While in Front Row even though it uses Quicktime to play a video it doesnt seem to use the same folder locations for the audio codecs.
Who knows why... who really cares :)
Simply make a COPY dont Move them or it will break Quicktime Pro codecs to the following location.
Any Audio codecs from /Library/Quicktime/ to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
Relaunch Front Row and your all done :)
In specific I have only had to move A52Codec.component and AC3Codec.component.
I Tinyurl'd both links to make it easier.
