View Full Version : Setting up a VPN

Apologies if this has been asked before but I can't find anything in the search facility (possibly because VPN is too few letters).

I want to set up a VPN with someone else who lives a distance away. This will mainly be used for connecting to a Subversion repository. I know OS X has a client built-in but it appears that OS X Server actually provides the other capabilities which are needed. In lieu of buying it are there any other (preferably free) alternatives I can use? Macs and XP boxes would need to connect as clients and the IP address where it would be hosted rarely changes.

A simple tutorial would also be appreciated if someone has a link to one :)
