I realise that SNL is some sort of American institution, but I just don't understand why.

the office!

its sad but true ... all apple does at those keynotes are tell you the features it has then repeat them over and over! especially the iphone keynote.

Add to that Steve's favourite movie - Pirates of the Carribean.

I may be old fashioned... yet I really am very mistrustful of the whole iPhone concept. Not meaning to offend, yet it really does look like something built for a 15 year old kid.

I mean - who can really type that fast and with such tiny fingers. Everything looks sexy on an advert.
That and iPhone using Quad Band GSM cell phone technology - rather out of date in Australia, no?

It won't be able to use 3G telecommunication - or any of Telstra's new network.

It's just another bouncy glossy colourful toy. Sorry.

(Me thinks).

"On/Off Switch" & "Clock" were my favorite features.

Perfect! (No sarcasm intended.)

It won't be able to use 3G telecommunication - or any of Telstra's new network.

The US is behind us in this area... 3G is only available in a few cities over there.

In any case, I don't want any more than GSM.... because I only want to make voice calls... not any of this low-res video call shite they're pushing now.

Back on topic, that video was poo.

[MREVO8] - or are you saying: " I do not want... what I cannot have." ;)

I guess you could see it that way... :P lol

Nah, to be completely honest... I want a phone that makes voice calls first and foremost - although the implementations of random access voicemail and email on the iPhone make me pretty interested.

If Telstra is the telco here... I may have to do without an iPhone though.

Yeah SNL is never very funny (apart from the Ashley Simpson stuff up).

I'm waiting for other better looking phones with touch screens to come out. Apple usually get it right with their asthetics but they get it oh so wrong with phones!
