View Full Version : Desktop Management - SpiritedAway

I came across freeware application SpiritedAway a few days back & have found it very useful.

Its function is to hide all windows/applications you are not working on after a user set elapsed time. Hence the Application name. I have found really useful because I invariably end up with a lot of Applications running on my desktop & it can get rather cluttered ... so it keeps me much tidier. SpiritedAway enables you to set exclusions for the Apllications you do not wish to be automatically hidden.

Download sites can be located via Google - note the Version Tracker download link for SpiritedAway appears to be broken.

Wouldn't you end up with a whole stack of unclosed apps?

even so, i love wasting my time playing with freeware.:)
thanks for the tip

have a look at Sticky Windows (http://www.donelleschi.com/stickywindows/) as well - also quite a neat way to handle multiple open windows
