I have a new USB 2.0 PC card; hardly used it - was in my PowerBook G4. I can sell it to you if you'd pitch an offer (it's a Belkin 2-port card with power adaptor [you can use an iPod with it, as well as many hard disks]. It shows up as an Apple OHCI USB 2.0 controller.

<The quote of $40 is for a PCI card [i.e. PowerMacs] - PC cards are more expensive. Mine was $130.>

All the generic USB 2.0/FW PCMCIA cards I've come across have worked no problem on Mac - they've even had an Apple logo on the box :) They cost about $20 - 30 from your local PC store/computer market.

did it work natively? ie plug it in and voila instant usb2 goodness?

i saw this in jbhifi today when i was having a browse for about 60$ and was about to buy it (i have an old tiBook) but it mentioned something about having to use 3rd party drivers to get usb2 working under osx which kinda put 2nd thoughts in my head cause ive had problems like this before trying to get 3rd party osx compatible hardware working
