Hey,
I have heard of a few ways to connect my MBP to my TV.

1. Buy Apples DVI to S-Video adapter (http://store.apple.com/133-622/WebObjects/australiastore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=7434E310&nplm=M9267G%2FA) or

2. Buy a VGA to S-Video adapter (http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/vga-rgb-component.html#hd15rgb). Using the VGA adapter that comes with the mac.

3. Is there any other simple way?

Buy a TV with DVI or VGA input? No really, Apple's DVI to S-VIDEO adaptor is the cheapest.

Hmm. For $35 are you sure it's the cheapest? I thought a VGA to S-Video Gold leads would still be cheaper. Ill go to DSE and have a look

Don't buy a new adaptor: Just get a Pioneer plasma. The DVI - to vga adaptors work absolutely perfectly on the Pio's. :D

I use Apple's DVI-Svideo also. Works a treat. The first time I connected it, the frequency defaulted to NTSC, changed it to PAL and thats it.
