Howdy, long time reader first time topic starter (LTRFTTS)

How much would you guys pay (if you could:P) for a power mac MDD g4 1.25ghz with...
Combo drive
1.25 gb ram
80 gb HDD
Radeon 9000 64mb Graphix
modem
17" Diamondtron flat CRT
Microsoft 5 button optical mouse

I'm thinking of going for a g5 you see and if the price is right i may sell it. (its not for sale at the moment)

Thanks

:( AU$2700, but only because it's got huge RAM. That said, this is just a hypothetical post as I'm saving my pennies for a G4 iBook

This is a real good machine - But is it the Dual 1.25? Because everymac haven't got a single 1.25GHz powermac listed?

Based on the single 1.0GHz model (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powermac_g4/stats/powermac_g4_1.0_mdd.html) - They are worth between $1500 and $1800 Australian ($1150 and $1400 USD)

Or if it is indeed the Dual (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powermac_g4/stats/powermac_g4_1.25_dp_mdd.html):
Between $1950 and $2265 ($1500-$1750 USD)

PMG4 1.25GHz/1MBL3/256/80G/Combo/RV250
Brand new from Apple with educational discount
$2069.10

I wouldn't pay anymore than $1800 for it. (The computer itself)
RAM is cheap, I can buy two 512mb sticks of DDR RAM for $200.
The monitor is only worth $170 at most, as a new 17" monitor can be purchased for that much.

So for the entire package, I wouldn't expect more than $2000...

Well, saying that probably lessens your chances of getting 2500 for it on here. :P

You have to factor in warranty too. If it's got an extended or education warranty, it would still be worth something, otherwise, being a new machine w/out warranty will wipe heaps off the price.
