Hi,

I'm not smart at all when it comes to technical stuff about computers.

I have a macbook and i'm planning on getting a new 3G phone. Possibly the new nokia N80.

My macbook has WIFI and so does the Phone.

Am i able to connect this phone to my macbook Via WIFI?

If yes, does this mean I can have internet access on my macbook thru my phone?

I'm not sure if you could connect to the internet thru WiFi between the phone and MacBook, but you should be able to connect to the phone's GPRS, or possibly WCDMA (3G) using bluetooth. It's just a matter of finding the right settings (I've tried to find them, but I can't now.) :)

Think i got the gist of what your trying to do.

If you'd like to use the Nokia N80 as a modem to connect to the internet via your MacBook then its relatively easy to setup.

Basically all you need to do is enable Bluetooth on both the devices and follow the setup promps in "Setup bluetooth device" and you'll be using the N80 as a gateway to browse the internet wirelessly in no time. No need to bother with WiFi.

Keep in mind the high data usage cost you'll have to pay by doing this though.
