Hi

Quick question.

When I share my WIFI internet connection on my iMac G4 (192.168.0.4) over the ethernet port via the sharing preferences panel, do I need to assign a manual ethernet adress in the same range as the connected device?

Further, is the iMac then taking over the job of handing out IP addresses? If my network device needs DHCP serving will my iMac do this or do I tell the network device (my Tivo) to look for the wireless router (192.168.0.1).

Also is there any way to see what devices are connected to the iMac and what IP addresses they have.

Thanks for any hints..
Cheers
