Any one know of a program that can rip the firmware out of USB devices on OS X?

I have a memory card that has a 1024 Megabyte Chip on it but the firmware is locking it to 128MB plz hlp...I know about 1024 Kilobits is 128MB but the chip number is a REAL 1024 Megabyte.

What sort of device - USB drive, SD, etc?

It's not fake is it - a really cheap one?

nup not a fake one ( It is a USB Flash Drive) you know the ones that plug into the usb port and have a couple of chips on it...

Are you sure it is 1024MB and not 1024Mb?

1024 Megabit = 128 MegaByte

Google the exact part number on the chip - my guess is that it&#39;s still 128MB and cannot be "flashed" over to 1024MB.
