O'Grady's PowerPage claims to have received a leak of Leopard's feature set (http://www.powerpage.org/archives/2006/08/exclusive_leopard_feature_set_leaked.html). Looks legit!

Looks cool. I always liked how spotlight shines on relevant icons in system preferences in Tiger. MSN and Yahoo integration for iChat also looks interesting. Cant wait to get my hands on Lepoard. :D

Bugger the screenies.

The feature list looks pretty darn packed - if this is just the surface of changes for 10.5 I am liking what I am seeing!

Looks like a very specific feature list.

The list looks real, but seems like it's missing the one or two big new things in Leopard.

My guess for those one or two things:
- Collaborative document editing over a network (including APIs for other apps to use this)
- Bootcamp 1.0 as part of Leopard
- More scalable/resolution independent UI
- Updated Finder
- More UI improvements

I'd be happy with all that.

to combat "vista" and remain ahead apple will have to do more than increase the version number on already existing software IMO

How do we know that that's all the feature set? There still may have been many features which haven't even been touched on...

This is disappointing .. The only good feature is Yahoo & MSN integration with iChat .. but anyway, it's still not confirmed as of now ...

Oh god, calm down people.

FFS. Just wait a few more days before being upset. Keep in mind that 10.4 > 10.5 has taken longer than 10.2 > 10.3 and 10.3 > 10.4. Somehow I don't think this will suck.

JUST WAIT!

The screen shots all look like pretty dodgy photoshop jobs, but I like the overall concept. I'll wait untill the genuine article has been released monday.

I do however really like the clown fish desktop. Is that a standard OS X desktop? if not anyone know where to get it?

MightyAtom, it's standard OS X Wallpaper..

What appealed to me was a possible rumor of a technology in leopard, where when you change resolutions/screens i.e. laptop to an lcd monitor, the window sizes stay identical to the previous resolution, i.e. if safari takes up the whole screen on the notebook, it will too on the monitor and vice versa or even have special settings for specific monitors/resolutions.

same goes with font sizes, and icon sizes too.

That preview is bullshit. Someone's just having fun. Simple photoshop IMO. Relax people not long to go now all will be revealed and I'm sure we won't be disappointed. :P

The descriptions seem too detailed (and logical) to be fake. However it might not be the complete feature set. Even if it is, it's advancing the technology that's already there.

I think we are going to see a lot more than that. Leopard is going to be in competition with Vista which is receiving so much hype (both bad and good).
That so called feature set is just a big fat software upgrade. Not an OS upgrade. Im sure apple has something fancy up their sleeves... they always do.

Would love for iChat 4.0 to be Yahoo and MSN compliant, as it states.

Although I doubt it very much somehow, seems to be some guys typing in what he hopes will happen.
