I just launched Terminal and it crashed straight off. I've never seen this before.... any guesses as to what might have caused it?

Welcome to Darwin!
-bash(3738) malloc: *** Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0x2d737263; This could be a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an allocated block; Try setting environment variable MallocHelp to see tools to help debug
[Process completed][/b]

Terminal is behaving itself just fine now, but that was pretty wierd....

That's the opposite of a memory leak. Trying to dealocate memory that has not been allocated.

No idea why the Bash shell is throwing that though, especially at start up.

That's what I thought... I would've thought that Bash would be mature enough to not have double free() bugs or anything like that... or is it an OSX malloc() bug of some sort? Maybe my RAM freaked out or something?
