View Full Version : Flash MX 2004 - inconsistent pic borders

Hi there

putting finishing touches to a flash website today and have a niggling little problem.

the client wanted a keyline around all pics on his site - simple! created a graphic and aligned with pics exactly...but when exporting and viewing the .swf file - some of the borders look heavier...I am using the same 1pt keyline on all my .fla files so not sure what is happening.

the layer hierarchy is the same throughout all the files so it is not that which was my initial thought. ie...maybe the keyline layer is 'behind' the images layer.....but all are above it for consistency.

any ideas???

cheers

Is the object being scaled in size?

Perhaps its a symbol that is resized. If you increase the size of a symbol then the border size will get bigger as well.

hi there

both the photo itself, and the border are graphics....and all pages for the webshite have been generated in the same way so not sure that scaling could be it. it works on some pages but not others which is why I was puzzled!

will check it out so thank you for the reply!

cheers
